is a mixed-use climate controlled self storage facility located in Atlanta’s Beltline Overlay District just up the street from the Piedmont Park and Ansley Mall. The project’s design incorporates pedestrian friendly street-level co-working space as well as streetscape improvements and a structural glass facade corner detail. Located at 2033 Monroe Drive, Atlanta, Georgia the four story building contains 117,308 square feet. Serving the affluent and densely populated neighborhoods of Morningside, Ansley Park, Virginia Highlands and Midtown, the project includes state-of-the-art design and security features. Cubesmart Midtown Morningside is scheduled to open in summer of 2018.
Cubesmart West Midtown
is a mixed-use brownfield redevelopment project located in the bustling and emerging community located along Northside Drive and Howell Mill in Atlanta’s Beltline Overlay District. West Midtown was once an industrial haven, but has quickly become a mecca for young professionals, design enthusiasts and the city’s most creative restauranteurs. With over 131,000 square feet, the climate controlled self storage project makes use of the challenging site conditions, without creating an overly imposing pedestrian condition, by breaking the building into two structures. The smaller structure, located directly adjacent to Northside Drive, is a two story facade with a street-level retail facade and includes co-working space. Located at 1484 Northside Drive, Atlanta, Georgia the project will serve West Midtown, Atlantic Station, Memorial Park and Brookwood Hills. Cubesmart West Midtown will deliver in the first quarter of 2019.
RECENTLY COMPLETED PROJECTS
opened in April, 2018 and will be Georgia’s first LEED certified climate controlled self storage facility and includes a mixed-use retail/restaurant use on the ground floor. At approximately 103,000 square feet the five story building located at 1801 Savoy Drive, Chamblee, Georgia serves the affluent northern Chamblee and southern Dunwoody markets. Located in the southeast corner of the intersection of Chamblee Dunwoody and I-285, the facility provides convenient access for customers in the Perimeter center area as well as the nearby healthcare mecca of Atlanta know as ‘Pill Hill’, which is Atlanta’s premier cluster of doctor’s offices, outpatient centers, hospitals and support centers.
opened in July of 2016 and was originally built as a flex warehouse building and was converted into a class A self storage facility with approximately 703 climate controlled units over 73,000 net rentable square feet. The property is located at 5110 McGinnis Ferry Road in Alpharetta, Georgia and is branded, operated and managed by CubeSmart, a national REIT. The affluent and dynamic markets of Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Windward and South Forsyth County have been at the center of explosive residential and commercial growth. The facility includes a number of unique amenities including carpeted hallways, flexible workstations for tenant use, music in the hallways and a climate controlled drive-thru.
- opened in July of 2016 and is located at 340 Franklin Gateway in Marietta, GA. The building is directly adjacent to I-75 and provides quick and convenient access for tenants in the area. The facility has approximately 63,000 rentable square feet of Class A climate controlled self storage consisting of 660 climate-controlled units. Marietta, the Cumberland District and Cobb County have long been areas of sustained growth and more recently are beginning to experience a renaissance of construction, redevelopment and renewed investment. The facility includes unique design attributes carpeted hallways, flexible workstations for tenant use, music in the hallways and a 10-person conference room for rental by the hour or day. Over 90% of the carpet used in the facility was recycled preventing countless tons of material from going to a landfill.
